Exhausted

Oh man am I tired tonight–and I still have so much work to do 😦 I don’t think I’m going to make it much longer tonight though—I’ll probably give in soon and head to bed and get started on my work bright and early tomorrow. I’m more productive in the mornings anyway.

Breakfast

I’m running so low on groceries but I don’t want to buy anything since I’m leaving on Friday for a month! For breakfast I finished up my cereal and milk which I had with the usual banana and flax.

It was freezing today. The type of cold that just bites at your face and makes your eyes water. When I left this morning weather.com said it was 16* “feels like” 1*. Ouch.

I had a nonfat cafe au lait to make it though my morning class and warm me up a bit.

Lunch

Turkey, hummus, veggie sandwich, carrots, and honeycrisp eaten in the library while studying. I can’t wait for finals to be over!

Snacks

I had a kashi bar after this afternoon and then was getting hungry a little later so I had another snack! I didn’t have my personal training session until 6 so I knew dinner would be late, I wanted to have lots of energy for my workout, and my body wanted more food, so I gave in by having some trail mix. Mmmm.

It’s a good thing I had that extra snack because my session was intense! It was seriously the hardest workout I’ve had in a long, long time. My heart rate was so high the whole time I’m glad it didn’t burst out of my chest. My trainer led me through an hour-long crazy interval workout workout which included: sprints, bike, lunges, push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts, squats and upper body weights. I was ready to die by the end. He did complement me on my push-ups which made me feel good but by the end my form was definitely slacking. I eventually had to do the “fake pushups” on my knees, hehe.

Dinner

When I got home from the gym I was seriously hungry. I couldn’t even wait to shower and needed dinner stat. Amy’s to the rescue yet again! I quickly heated up an Amy’s Southwestern Burrito, plus salad and cottage cheese. I felt so much better after eating. My arms still feel like jello though! Man, I’m going to be sore tomorrow!

Dessert

I showered and got working on my paper for a while before deciding on dessert. I had fage and graham crackers which I crumbled up into the yogurt as I went, and it was delicious! I’m also sipping some candy cane lane tea which is so good.

Alright, gotta get back to work! Goodnight everyone.

I agree with Jenny – I’m tired just reading about that workout of yours! Sounds so intense, but so worthwhile! I didn’t realize that you started seeing a trainer – that’s awesome!!

Your lunch sandwich looks absolutely PACKED with deliciousness.

It is definitely cold outside. Good luck with the rest of your studying and HURRAY for going home on FRIDAY!!!!

Awesome workout! I’m looking forward to eventually seeing a personal trainer at my gym. Yours sounds intense but highly effective!

I always have fage + graham cracker crumbs. Isn’t it divine?!

I wish you the best of luck getting through finals! Just think, you’re SO close 🙂 And great job for really fueling yourself in an appropriate, healthy way all week. I know it can get super stressful with exams ❤
